Last Sunday Catholic Archbishop Denis Hart delivered a "sincere and unreserved" apology to victims of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy.
So what does that mean for us here in Gippsland?
Deb put that question to the current Bishop of the Sale Catholic Diocese Bishop Christopher Prowse.
Each state in Australia has a Professional Standards Resource Group, established to handle complaints of sexual abuse within the Church. The contact number for Victoria is 1800 816 030.

Last Friday we began a 36 hour live non-sleeping fundraiser we called Sleepless In the Studio – you may have heard some of it. Randell and Sarah stayed awake for 36 hours and the final tally for our fundraiser is $22,042.73 – a fantastic effort and much needed funds to keep us on air. Deb caught up with one of the elders of the newly formed Christian Community Church, Rob Archer, and asked why they had decided to merge...
